Who knows that movie?

I want a movie for years, I thought it was '' La main du diable'' or "Carnival of Sinners" but when I watched the youtube snippet, I realized that this is the wrong title. I saw this movie in 1978-1979 and it started by an archaeological dig. A man has discovered a kind of silver casket in the shape of a left hand. He offers it to his wife and when she opens it, she gets possessed by this hand. During the film, people cut their left hand and they all die eventually. I remember the hand holding on to a train. If with this brief description you remember this movie, I'd like to know the title.
