Hi, will you be allowing connection to Roku boxes in the near future?

Hello,
We would like that too. We are however currently focused on work with BRAVIA devices and our next priority shall be iPad app. As of now MUBI is available:
- online in 177 countries as a website
- via set top box Boxee across the world
- via PlayStation 3 in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia and New Zealand
- via Sony BRAVIA connected devices (not only internet-enabled TVs but also Blu ray players and net box) across 58 countries in Europe plus Australia and New Zealand with more territories to be launched in 2012
Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
All the best,
Pawel

We don't have it planned for now, Kathleen, but we'll certainly take the idea under consideration.

I noticed that Mubi is now available on Boxee. Any chance of it coming to Roku, too?

Mubi on Roku?. -

I was wondering if there were any plans to bring Mubi to the Roku player or to PS3 in the US. It would be so much more convenient than trying to watch on my laptop.

I'd love to be able to watch Mubi on my HDTV without having to rig up all the wiring to the laptop.
Would be great to have any or all of Roku, PS3 or AppleTV.
Or even a PlayOn channel. -

Dear Ron Thigpen,
We believe so too. As of now in the US you may access MUBI via Boxee set top box, which enables you watching our films on your TV without a hassle. Currently MUBI on PS3 is available across Europe, Australia and New Zealand only, I'm afraid.
Thank you for your patience and please let us know if there is anything else we may help with.
All the best,
Pawel

Thanks Pawel.
I appreciate that Mubi is trying to make themselves available over more channels, I just wish there were more options for me.
I already own a PS3, an AppleTV and the PlayOn media server. Availability on Boxee is nice, but I don't really want to have to purchase and wire yet another device. (I've run out of HDMI inputs on my TV and network ports on my switch). If I were to purchase another device, the Roku would probably higher on my list than the Boxee box, just due to how it's offerings complement those on my other devices.
Naturally, everyone's situation is different, but I think it boils down to choice. The more methods by which Mubi is available, the more likely Mubi is to appeal to given customer. I hope that these options can be expanded and that Mubi continues to enjoy success.
Any idea whether or when Mubi might be available on PS3 in the US? This would be my preferred method of access.
Thanks,

On the verge of dumping my Netflix subscription for Mubi subscription. Roku channel would put me over the edge...

The iPad is a peripheral device good for a small, mobile streaming format (or output to TV, at best), certainly not the optimal cinematic experience. It seems that a mobile device shouldn't take priority over one of the most talked about, least expensive, and perfectly suited set top boxes that brings the film to your home cinema.

What are the issues with releasing the PlayStation 3 app in the US? Sounds like it might be more of a licensing rather than technical issue.
A US PS3 release would totally meet my needs. -

Wow, I would have loved to try Mubi -- but Roku is my main method of watching streaming. A shame.

I find it bizarre to spend so much effort supporting a limited platform (Sony BRAVIA) while at the same time ignoring far more common platforms such as Roku, Plex, Apple TV, ect.
In any case when you finally start to support common popular platforms (ie ones myself and tens of thousands of others have), then I'd love to subscribe but, I don't see myself paying $7 to stream stuff onto my computer.
This looks to be a great site looking forward to when you get device streaming ready. -

I have Netflix streaming and Hulu Plus. Would love to add MUBI. Please make Roku a priority in the U.S. You have a lot I'd like to see, but I can't watch it on my computer.

I think Mubi has waited too long as Fandor has moved aggressively into this space on Roku.

Dear bstangland,
Thank you for your message and your interest in MUBI.
I don't think MUBI would work with Playon, and we do not support it officially.
I am sorry for the negative answer, but we do hope to expand the range of compatible products as soon as possible!
Thank you for contacting us again, and please do not hesitate to send us a new message if you need our further help regarding MUBI.
Best regards,
Quentin
