Yes please. Be it via a more mobile-friendly website or ideally an Application (for Android in particular, please).

Thank you for the idea, Diegogoes, we'll consider it!

Yes! Please!
I'm kinda addicted to TheAuteurs and I would love to be able to see 'recently added' from my iPhone :) -

It is frustrating! I was hoping to enjoy my Mubi account using my IPhone, but the movie won't run due to IPhone's restrictions with Flash player. I must now use my Netflix account. This is a big minus for me considering the price :(

Dear sdela
We are currently working hard to launch MUBI iPad App as soon as possible and making MUBI available on mobile devices it's on our list of top priorities too. Hopefully it will be ready before long.
Best

Android app please, preferably one that is compatible with older versions of the Android O/S (eclair/froyo)

Please consider an Android App. In Europe there are more Android users than iPhone/iPad users now.

your website is not optimized for mobile devices. it's barely impossible to add movies to your watchlist, to maintain your profile...to write this post. you really need to update your site... or... a app would be much better ;)

Dear all,
we are in final phase for an ipad/iphone/ipod app, but Android will not be available in the near future, sorry.
Best,

I'm a bit surprised. Lets have a look on the mobile market:
android: 61%
ios: 29%
(source: NPD Group)
android: 47,3%
ios: 30%
(source: commscore) -

How can this be? You'll be missing half of the market not making an Android-app!!!
Is it because of the costs? -

I’m
excited
Yes Dave, costs are one of the many reasons.
It takes a lot of time, money and manpower as well as legal issues to bring films to different devices.
And I know we look like a really big company :) but we are still a start-up.
So please bear with us, as soon as the ios is running I am sure we will focus on Android.
Best,
Maximilian
PS: When we decided to work on a ios App, Android didn't even exist yet :) -
-
I was curious why you didn't have a mobile device app but completely forgot about mobile device rights until Maximilian mentioned it -- the legal logistics are ridiculous. Good luck!

agreed -- i dont even need to be able to watch films on my iphone, id just like a mobile version of updating our filmographys, viewing peopls' profiles, and visiting the forums.. could kinda care less about the movies. would probably kill my phone battery anyhow.

Hi,
I did a quick fix for MUBI on iPhone with just 50 lines of extra CSS and one meta tag in the .
Check out the demo: http://rado.bg/mubi/

I just took a trial subscription. I shall not renew if there is no Android app. I am not interested in an ipad app. For a package that is supposed to be aimed at anywhere/anytime movies on demand it seems incredible there is no app to allow use of an Android tablet.

It is possible to get onto Mubi on Android but Mubi refuses to allow it to be used.
I just signed on to MUBI with my Android Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 using the Photon browser that still has Flash support. When I try to watch a film Mubi tells me it has determined I am not in the UK and so cannot watch. Rubbish! I am in London using a connection to a UK broadband ISP. Mubi works fine on a PC through the same broadband connection.
Trial runs out in three weeks and I shall cancel it then. -

Is a MUBI iPhone app still happening? I would love to be able to quickly search for, read about, rate, and create lists of movies from my mobile. I've tried using the www site from the mobile browser and it's really painful.
