Film Database

What is your film database and how does it work?

How can a film maker benifit from placing his or her film in the database?

Are you asking for the film in its entirety or will you upload clips or trailers for the film maker?

    Hello Jay,

    Thank you for your interest. MUBI is both a database and a VOD service.

    Our database is created for purely informational purposes. We are developing it together with our community as every registered member of MUBI is welcomed to submit a suggestion.

    The profile page of a film would include synopsis, crew and cast entries as well as trailer when available.

    As a VOD platform we have an acquisition team that acquire the rights to screen the films we want to show on MUBI. This film has to come in their full version. We do not screen clips or excerpts unless they are treated as trailers or teasers.
